A message from our CEO

How many people, while working as employees, are truly able to think seriously about their own future?

No knowledge. No time. No idea where to turn for advice. Even when retirement-savings worries make headlines, decades pass without knowing what to actually do. I have seen such people again and again.

Money is not a goal. It is the foundation for living life on your own terms. Yet most people enter society without ever being taught how to build that foundation. I believe this is not a matter of individual effort, but a structural problem: finance has long functioned as something only for those who understand it.

That is why I felt it had to change. Financial knowledge and options must not belong to a select few; everyone should have them as a matter of course. And rather than pushing the responsibility for asset building onto each individual, we should build structures where workplaces and society support and share it. That conviction is the starting point of Painter.

With the power of technology, finance can become more accessible and more fair. A society where each person can build the foundation of their own life with their own hands — we will keep moving toward it, starting here.
